The preeminent drummer of the Buffalo jazz scene, John Bacon’s quintet explores the myriad moods and subtleties of his original works. John’s compositions can make you forget how you never knew that you liked Ornette Coleman, can reaffirm that yes, you do wish you had always been a drummer, and above all can take you on a fun and exciting journey into the music which he creates with meticulous care and mountainous ability.

Gene McCarthy’s now carries the torch of jazz as the spiritual successor to the monthly Flying Bison session started by the great Bobby Millitelo.
